Tula-Tulaan

isa akong frustrated na manunula--noon at ngayon. i remember noong teenage years ko, meron akong compilation ng mga tulang gawa ko. mostly about love..meron din akong diary noon... hehe..mahilig din sa mga romantic novels at movie na tagalog at english...medyo may pagka-hopeless romantic....i miss my old self. :-)

pero mahirap gumawa ng tula pag walang inspirasyon lalu na sa akin na nde naman talaga bihasa ba. enewei, i'm still gonna try. eh, gusto ko talagang makagawa ng tula before man lang matapos ang long week-end. may pasok na kami bukas. gusto ko ding malaman kung anong kalalabasan nito. :-)

It's You

i am in the middle of the desert

where no one can see me

suddenly the wind blows,

as if asking me this question

"are you waiting for someone?"

"No", i answered plainly.

now, i found myself in the big city

where lights are open 24/7

the busy metro and buses playing their parts

tired for the day i fell asleep 'til a familiar voice wakes me up

got myself to thinking "am i waiting for someone?"

"i don't know, i don't know" that's all i ever could say.

days, months and years passed

i've almost forgotten those voices within

'til one time you asked me,

"did you ever wait for someone?"

and it made sense afterall...

"Yes, it's you! you're the one i've been waiting for!".
